I grow the channels that are hard to fake

AI made content cheap, but it did nothing to make trust any easier to earn

Hola, I am Javier Corral, a partnerships and content marketer. For 7 years I have built affiliate programs, partner channels, email and social, often as the only person doing it, and these are the channels where people decide to trust you long before they buy anything.

Polished content is easy to find now, so it stopped being proof of anything

If you are hiring for marketing this year, you have probably noticed that every portfolio looks good and every post sounds confident. What is still rare is a person who can walk into a channel with nothing in it, build the relationships it runs on, and keep it growing long after the launch.

The hire that looks good on paper

You usually get a busy content calendar, a few nice launches, and a channel that slows down once the novelty is gone, which usually means you are hiring again a year later.

The hire who has done it alone

You get a channel with its own momentum, built on real partners and real trust, and documented well enough that it keeps running without anyone holding it together.

I spent 4 years as the only person on an affiliate channel, so I know what it takes to build one without a team, a brief or a playbook.

What I actually do

I work in three areas, and each one has results you can check.

Partnerships and affiliate programs

+82%
year over year growth, past $500,000

I have built two partner channels from nothing, and both of them passed $500,000 in revenue.

  • Grew a roster from 26 to more than 60 partners at iPhone Photography School
  • Launched the whole program on Impact.com from scratch, with a naming system that let us launch content twice as fast
  • Found $160,000 in extra revenue in 9 months by reading partner performance every week and growing the partnerships that were already there
  • Owned a client book worth more than $1M USD at Fintel Connect, and recruited Kayak, Tripadvisor and Rokt into client programs

B2B content marketing

1 person
doing all of the content marketing at Help Texts

I run content marketing on my own for a healthcare technology product that sells to clinics, hospices, health systems, employers and health plans.

  • The email program, lead magnets, landing pages, website copy, blog and sales collateral
  • Proposals and enterprise material written for Mayo Clinic and TELUS Health
  • Case studies built from my own interviews with clinicians and customers
  • A content calendar, a voice guide and a visual system, because none of them existed when I arrived

Content and creator work

208,000
views on my best TikTok

I built an audience of 113,000 with no ad spend, and I write, film, appear in and edit everything myself.

  • @yourenglishpractice, about 112,000 followers on Instagram, grown over 5 years for people learning English
  • @newcomersetup.ca, my Vancouver brand started in March 2026, with a site, blog and email list I built myself in Framer
  • Paid brand work for Uber Eats and local Vancouver partners

What the people I work with say

“Even in our fast-paced, small company, with ever-changing projects and priorities, Javier brought a sense of calm to the team. I’d hire him again in a second.”

“His copy is strong, he lays out materials in a way that grabs attention, and he makes social content that people actually engage with. I’d recommend him to anyone without a second thought.”

Where I have done it

Brand side and partner side, from key accounts in Mexico to building channels on my own in Vancouver.

I publish like a three person team

The volume

Most days I ship 2 or 3 pieces across video, image and copy, for a business audience and a consumer audience at the same time.

How it is possible

I built repeatable systems around AI, so I do not start from a blank page every morning, and drafting and repurposing are fast now.

What has not changed

The judgment, the relationships and the face on camera are still mine, and those were never the slow part.

“What really stands out is how well he uses AI, he’s one of the most fluent people I’ve worked with on it, and he turned that into design processes that leveled up our brand.”

Three things I do not do

I would rather you hear them from me now than find out in month two.

1.

Paid media buying

I have never run the buys myself. I have worked next to paid teams, so I understand how the channels feed each other.

2.

Adobe Creative Suite

I do not use Adobe. I work in CapCut, Canva and Figma, and everything on my channels was made with those three tools.

3.

Leading a large team

I have coached 1 direct report and managed 1 external agency. Leading a full team would be a step up for me.

I learn fast, though, so if a role needs one of these I will tell you honestly how long it would take me to get there.

How I work

  1. 1.
Work out what is actually broken

It is usually something different from what the brief says, so I start with the numbers and with the people closest to the problem.

  2. 2.
    Build the thing

I would rather make the email, the page or the partner program than a deck about it, so we can see how it does in the real world.

  3. 3.
Read what it produced, and change it

At iPhone Photography School I read partner performance every week, and that habit alone found $160,000 the quarterly review would have missed.

What a 15 minute chat looks like

  • What you are trying to grow
  • What you have already tried
  • Whether I am the right fit for it
  • And no pitch if I am not
